If you are having water come up through the concrete in a certain area of your home you will want to install the sump pump in the designated corner and run perforated drain pipe to the pit. You want to saw cut the concrete Jackhammer up the concrete and properly pitch the pipe at a quarter inch per foot from the opposite end of the pit properly bedding the pipe after installing a sock over the pipe that will stop all debris from getting in your pipes and jamming the pump. You will want to properly diagnose why the floor drain is backing up first you will want to run the kitchen think and see if it affects the floor drain.
